Having recently acquired a 70’s Pentax k1000 film camera, I have been pushing my creative mind into new avenues. Photography has always appealed to me and I think it is an essential skill to develop as a designer looking to gain as much knowledge into the subject as possible. The all-manual Pentax takes you back to basics forcing you to learn the relationship between arpetures, ISO’s and shutter speeds. I am no professional, but this hobby is completely infectious& has certainly helped in terms of graphic design and presentation of renders to make them appear more photo-realistic.
